I figured I'd start this one off! I'm in NC and have been playing COC since last December. I didn't join a clan until I'd been playing two months, because I wanted to "have a stronger base before asking to join others." Looking back, that was a mistake. Being in a good clan can get you great advice, protection in your clan castle, great extra troops to bring into battle, etc. I'm a digital marketing and analytics manager in the Research Triangle Park area of NC, so I work online all day, and I'm able to check in with COC on and off throughout the day. In general, I raid in the AM, evening, and lunch, EST time. But, when I randomly check-in, I always look to see if anyone needs troop donations and am always happy to send them your way! I've probably had 50 different base designs in the past 8 months, always looking for something new, or an edge... and learning by watching a ton of replays of the attacks on my base. In the end, there is no perfect base! I'm a looter most of the time, so I generally leave my TH outside and then switch it in when I want to grab more trophies. The laboratory makes a great switch building, since its the same size as the TH. I raid for fast gold & elixir and try to keep all builders from sleeping! Anyway... I just wanted to say hey and tell you I'm glad to have found Mice and Men. Let me know if I can be of help to you in the game. I'm always happy to donate troops for raiding and protection. Keep is Clashy. See you in the game. Jamie

Alright...
I'm in Nebraska; a farmer and a bit of a gamer.
I've been playing since sometime this winter. Like Jamie, I didn't join a real clan until I was either late TH6 or early TH7, largely because I find it easiest to rely on myself. Before that I was in a clan with my alternate account. At a wedding reception I realized that my cousin played Clash as well, then suddenly three quarters of the table chimed in to say that they play, too. All of a sudden I joined my cousin's clan and was thrown into the full world of Clash of Clans.
I know Natalie and Dr.Mouse in real life (neither is my cousin, we left the cousins in the old clan) and one day they said they wanted to leave the old clan and make a new one. I was completely on board. Some fools had more or less taken over the other clan and the leadership there was weak, at best while the organization was basically non-existent. Our goal was to create a new clan that actually came up with a plan and could rely on its members to carry it out...so here we are!
I think the constant search for upgrades and unlocks has kept me in the game this long. This clan has rejuvenated my interest in the gameā¦to the likely displeasure of my wife. hehe.
Lately I've been trying to complete TH7: upgrading everything that is available to upgrade at the level. I've gotten tired of that, though, as my builders have been sitting stagnant waiting for the huge piles of resources that I need to get the last few upgrades, not to mention 200,000 gold for each section of wall. I also haven't bothered trying to farm the dark elixir to unlock the barb king or upgrade the dark troops. I got it to about 6,000 and started running out of other things to upgrade. I'm going to be upgrading to TH8 as soon as I put the cash together (which should be very soon.) Then I'll have a dark elixir drill which should make that much more interesting.
I'm also the alt, Apmaddock II, of course. He's just like Apmaddock but about a TH level behind. I just hit upgrade on his TH to send it to level 7 today.
Thanks for joining the clan, guys. We're in for a fun ride.

Woot someone started something!
I also live in Nebraska. Just about to finish up my arseociate's degree in IT which my job is also in IT. Majority of my time is spent at work, which is where I do homework, at school, doing homework at home, and then playing video games. If anyone has Steam, feel free to add me. Right now I'm hooked on Payday 2 but my all-time favorite would be TF2. Not a console gamer at all really, except for the occasional Rock Band.
I started CoC in January, I believe. A good friend of mine, who no longer plays for some reason, asked me to start playing and join a clan he was in. So I did and finally convinced Natalie to join in, too. The clan really didn't do anything. Some donations here and there and no clan wars so it was mostly just sitting around upgrading stuff. Somewhere in there I stopped playing for a bit because I had nothing to really play for, I guess.
Then comes the wedding that Apmaddock is at and then my story is pretty similar to his. Joined their cousin's clan, started hating the leadership and stuff, ventured out and created a new one. A better one, I might add.
Now we're here. I like helping out others which is great because we have a lot of new people which is still great because everyone seems to be pretty cool and active.
Keep on being rad, everybody!

hehehehe! arseociate's.
I see that censorbot is working.
Good thing we're a clan and not an arseociation.

Wucka here I am in Minnesota, family is from southwestern Michigan, South Bend IN area. I found this clan after you kicked our tails in a war. I too got tired of the "family bias" in my last clan. I work in the Utilities Dept (water and sewer) of a fairly large city 65,000. I don't work out of a office per say, my truck is my office. But I can log on through out the day to check on troop requests. Some of my interest include ice fishing, boating, jet skiing and Nascar. "Rubbin is racin"
