Here's a basic explanation of a GoWiPe attack that can be used at TH8.
Here's what you need:
2 Golems (or 10 Giants)
3 Pekkas
7 Bombers
Wizards to fill up the rest
3 rage spells or 2 rage & 1 Lightning if you are not luring the CC, so you can zap them when they cluster.
CC - Bring all wizards
First, you have to consider the base you will be attacking. You need to attack from one side only and deploy things in a specific order. Here's what I have done with good success:
The trick is to move fast! For the spells, rage the compartment your troops enter into, but make sure the rage overlaps into the core. This will get them there faster. Once a bunch of troops make it to the core, hit them with another rage the the TH will go down fast.

- Drop the giants in line as close to the wall as possible. Then will start to go for the wall to get to the closest defense behind it. Do not group the giants, in case there's traps.
- Once the giants get to the wall, deploy all of the bombers in one line (hold your finger down) as close to the middle of the wall the giants are on as possible. The giants act as tanks and the bombers let them in.
- After you deploy the bombers, immediately deploy all of your wizards in a line along the entire length of the wall the giants and bombers went for. They are your kill squad.
- Drop the wizards in your CC right at the hole in the wall.
- Finally, drop the Pekkas in the hole as well.
